Islam Sandouka was born and raised in Edmonton. He moved to Calgary to attend the oldest and most recognised college of traditional Chinese medicine in Alberta, which is a partnership with the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He graduated from the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009; after completing a three year condensed doctorate program in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Having completed over one thousand hours of observation and volunteering; treating various diseases such as sports injuries, tendonopathy and myopathy. Islam Sandouka is very passionate about Acupuncture and believes in the positive effects that massage can have on one’s health.
